A 28-year-old overweight Chinese man's belly got wedged in a well and stopped him from falling down, officials said. Liu got trapped in his family's well after breaking through wood that had been used to cover it. The fire services said he only survived because he was “too fat” to fall down. He was rescued unharmed, officials added.
