Nearly 680 police personnel will be deployed in Bengaluru's Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground for Independence Day celebrations on Saturday, Commissioner of Police, Kamal Pant said. "9 DCPs, 14 ACPs, and 31 inspectors will be deployed," he further said, adding a unit of Garud Commando Force, 10 KSRP battalions, and 10 KSRP platoons will also be present at the venue.
