Maharashtra BJP leader Chitra Wagh on Friday wrote a letter to Union IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad seeking action against apps "misusing pictures uploaded by women users and enraging their modesty." She said the apps digitally remove women's clothes, and then the photos are made viral. She requested a ban on such apps to stop such incidents.
