Former Bengaluru Mayor Sampath Raj, who has been named as one of the key conspirators in the DJ Halli and KJ Halli violence case, filed an anticipatory bail petition with the Bengaluru Sessions Court on Saturday. The court has adjourned the hearing to October 27. According to CCB, COVID-19 positive Raj may be avoiding arrest on the pretext of treatment.
