Australian bottler Coca-Cola Amatil said on Monday that Coca-Cola European Partners has offered to buy its business for $6.58 billion. The deal, which would be Australia's biggest of the year, values Amatil at a 19% premium to where its shares traded last week. Coca-Cola Amatil has diversified into whiskey, rum, beer and ground coffee, beyond the flagship fizzy drinks.
