Core Investment Companies can have only 2 layers: RBI

The Reserve Bank of India on Thursday announced revised guidelines for Core Investment Companies (CICs) under which the parent CIC or CIC with the largest asset size will form a group risk management committee. To simplify group structures, number of layers of CICs within a group will be restricted to two. Revised rules have to be followed by March 2023.
