French footballer Paul Pogba, a practising Muslim, has refuted a report alleging that he quit the national team over comments made by the country's President Emmanuel Macron regarding Islam. "Absolutely 100% unfounded news," said Pogba. Speaking over the beheading of a French teacher for showing cartoons of Prophet Muhammad, Macron had said, "Islam is in crisis all over the world."
