Google has added COVID-19-related information to searches about travelling as lockdown restrictions are being eased. It recently introduced driving alerts to notify about COVID-19 checkpoints and restrictions along the route in Google Maps. Data relating to travel resumption, percentage of open hotels with availability and flights operating will also be added soon.
