The government on Saturday relaxed the eligibility criteria for MSMEs under the ₹3 lakh crore credit guarantee scheme. The government increased the upper limit of loans outstanding as of February 29 to ₹50 crore from ₹25 crore and raised the ceiling on turnover to ₹250 crore from ₹100 crore. The scheme is a part of the government's Aatmanirbhar Bharat package.
