India will fund the largest civilian infrastructure project in Maldives through $400 million line of credit and $100 million grant, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced on Thursday after a virtual meet with Maldives' Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid. The 6.7-km Greater Male Connectivity Project will connect Male with three neighbouring islands Villingili, Gulhifalhu and Thilafushi.
