Domestic carrier IndiGo said it would charge flyers ₹100 starting October 17 if they want to check-in at the airport counter. The aviation ministry in May had made it compulsory for all flyers to do web check-ins to avoid crowding at airports due to COVID-19. The low-cost carrier added that it encourages passengers to web check-in as per government directives.
