Ishaan Khatter has been roped in to play retired Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, who fought against Pakistan in 1971's Battle of Garibpur, in Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur's 'Pippa', to be directed by Raja Krishna Menon. The two-day battle was fought in Russian amphibious war tank PT-76, nicknamed Pippa. "Getting a chance to play...Captain Balram...is a privilege," Ishaan said.
