The NIA on Monday arrested a 42-year-old man wanted in connection with the Kerala gold smuggling case as soon as he arrived in Kochi from Dubai in UAE. Investigation in the case revealed that "key absconder" Rabins K Hameed conspired with some arrested accused, NIA said. He arranged funds and purchased gold in Dubai for smuggling to India, it added.
