The COVID-19 vaccine being developed by the University of Oxford produces a similar immune response in both older and younger adults, drugmaker AstraZeneca said on Monday. It added that the adverse responses were lower among the elderly. "The results further build the body of evidence for the safety and immunogenicity of our vaccine AZD1222,” an AstraZeneca spokesperson said.
