An unnamed wealthy European bought a private island off the coast of Ireland for €5.5 million (over ₹47 crore) without setting foot on it amid the coronavirus pandemic. The purchase was made on the basis of video footage of the 157-acre Horse Island in Roaringwater Bay. The island has seven houses, helipad, gym, tennis court and a "shipwreck playhouse".
