Railway Ministry has issued draft specifications for plying private trains along proposed routes. Electronic sliding doors, windows with double-glazed safety glass, Braille signs, emergency talk-back mechanism, passenger surveillance system, are among the specifications. "Train shall be capable of accelerating to a speed of 160kmph from 0kmph in a maximum of 140 seconds on level track," it stated.
