A goldsmith in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore has designed masks using gold and silver threads. "The gold mask has been made using 18-carat gold which costs ₹2.75 lakh and the silver mask costs ₹15,000. Around 9 orders have been confirmed," he said. He added that he's aware common people can't afford them but "rich people can use them for royal weddings".
