A Dargah in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly has reportedly asked mosque heads and followers to avoid using alcohol-based sanitisers as it's prohibited in Islam. Mufti Nashtar Farooqi of Dargah Aala Hazrat said people should properly wash their hands and mosque campus with soap, detergent and shampoo instead of sanitisers. Some temples have also refused using sanitisers due to the alcohol content.
