TMC leader Mahua Moitra's former partner and SC lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai withdrew his defamation suit filed against Moitra before Delhi High Court as a "peace offering". Dehadrai's counsel said that his client is willing to "withdraw" the lawsuit subject to an "assurance" from Moitra's side that no "palpably false" statement will be made against his client.
