UP has recorded 36.96% voter turnout till 1pm today in eight parliamentary constituencies that have gone to polls in first phase of 2024 Lok Sabha elections. A total of 80 candidates, including 73 men and seven women, are contesting in the first phase. According to Election Commission, 1.43 crore people are eligible to cast their votes in the first phase.
