Former BharatPe MD Ashneer Grover said tax payers are the meaningless minority as far as elections are concerned. He said politicians can get away with whatever they say on tax in rallies because "only 0.5% of the voters pay any meaningful income tax". The remarks come amid controversy over Congress' Sam Pitroda calling the US' inheritance tax an "interesting idea".
