$2-billion UK food delivery startup Deliveroo to enter India

UK-headquartered online food delivery startup Deliveroo is planning to set up operations in India and is reportedly looking to hire a country head to lead the launch. The startup which is valued at $2 billion is also in the process of on-boarding a full-fledged team in the country. Deliveroo will be competing against homegrown companies including Zomato and Swiggy.
