Senior journalist Nalini Singh said that Sunanda Pushkar had made her a call, hours before her death and told her that Shashi Tharoor had deleted messages to Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar from his BBM. She said that as a media person, Singh should help her in retrieving those messages. Notably, Singh was the last person Sunanda called from her mobile.
