₹4,000-cr scholarships given to 56 lakh students: UP Minister

UP Minister Asim Arun on Tuesday said the Yogi Adityanath-led government set a record by distributing ₹4,000 crore in scholarships to 56 lakh students. He claimed this surpasses the Samajwadi Party government's tenure, during which ₹2,600 crore scholarships were distributed to 34 lakh students. He also said that the process was transparent in giving scholarships to students, unlike SP's time.
