1,000 DU students clear 2,000 kg of waste from Yamuna riverbank

Nearly 1,000 Delhi University students removed over 2,000 kg of waste from the Yamuna riverbank at Kalindi Kunj on Gandhi Jayanti. The cleanup was part of Gen Z Yamuna Jal Chaupal 2026, organised by the Green Pencil Foundation. Before starting, students walked barefoot towards the river to connect with its condition and build solidarity with the environment.
