₹1.60 crore seized from customs officer in bribe case in Jhansi

The CBI seized ₹1.60 crore from a customs officer and others in a ₹70 lakh bribe case in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi. Customs officer Prabha Bhandari, posted as Deputy Commissioner (IRS-C&IT), two Superintendents, an advocate and an owner of a private company have been arrested in the case. They allegedly demanded ₹1.5 crore for favouring private firms in GST evasion matters.
