10 Things I Hate About You' (1999) director Gil Junger confirmed that sequel, '10 Things I Hate About Dating', is officially in its development stage. The film will be inspired by Molière's 1666 play, 'The Misanthrope'. Makers plan to build a franchise exploring confusion in romance with '10 Things I Hate About Marriage' and '10 Things I Hate About Kids'.
