₹16.5-lakh-cr wealth wiped off as Sensex dips 2,200 points in 2 days, rupee ends at record low

Investor wealth worth ₹16.5 lakh crore was wiped out as Indian stocks saw bloodbath in two trading sessions since start of Middle East war. Sensex dipped 2,200 points after tumbling 2,844 points to hit the two sessions' lowest, while Nifty fell 700 points in two trading sessions. Indian rupee also closed at a record low of ₹92.15/US dollar on Wednesday.
