₹2.33L cr allocated to MHA, ₹1.6L cr allocated to central forces

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) was allocated ₹2,33,210.68 crore in the Union Budget for 2025-26, with ₹1,60,391.06 crore being given to central police forces like CRPF, BSF and CISF. While the CRPF got ₹35,147.17 crore, the BSF and the CISF were allocated ₹28,231.27 crore and ₹16,084.83 crore respectively. The budget earmarked ₹5,597.25 crore for Border Infrastructure and Management.
