₹20,000 to be given to Bihar residents for Ladakh yatra: CM Samrat

The CM Samrat Choudhary-led Bihar government has announced the Sindhu Darshan Teerth Yatra Financial Assistance Scheme 2026 to support residents planning a yatra to Ladakh. Under the scheme, the government will reportedly reimburse 50% of travel expenses or provide up to ₹20,000 per person, whichever is lower. The number of beneficiaries has been capped at 100 pilgrims annually.
