₹400-cr demonetised notes robbed in K'taka, Congress-BJP row erupts

A row erupted between Congress-led Karnataka government and BJP over the alleged robbery of ₹400 crore in demonetised ₹2,000 notes at a tri-junction area linking Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa in 2025. Minister Priyank Kharge questioned why such cash moved through BJP-ruled states. BJP's Chalavadi Narayanaswamy said Karnataka government sends money to other Congress-ruled states for elections.
