₹466 crore approved for 4 km stretch of 4-lane road in Karnataka

Union Road Transport & Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed that ₹466.74 crore has been approved to construct the remaining 4.74-km stretch of the four-lane Shivamogga City Bypass on the new NH-69 in Karnataka. The money was also approved for one-time improvement works "on the existing National Highway within the city portion being bypassed". This project will decongest Shivamogga, he said.
