₹5 lakh fine on lawyers if they represent Ram Mandir donation theft accused: Ayodhya lawyers' body

Bar association in Ayodhya have decided not to represent those accused in the alleged Ram Mandir donation theft, warning that any member who takes up the case will be fined ₹5 lakh. A committee comprising various office-bearers has been formed to handle the prosecution's case. Lawyers also demanded that Champat Rai, Anil Mishra, and Gopal Rao must leave Ayodhya.
