₹551.7 crore was spent for 204 players in the last IPL mega auction

In the previous IPL mega auction in 2022, the 10 IPL franchises spent ₹551.7 crore to buy a total of 204 players. As many as 11 players were bought for at least ₹10 crore each, while 13 players were bought for amounts between ₹8 crore and ₹9.25 crore. In 2018 mega auction, ₹432 crore was spent on 169 players.
