₹64,150 crore withdrawn by FPIs from Indian equities in January
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have withdrawn ₹64,156 crore from Indian equities so far this month, as per the latest NSDL data. This comes amid rupee depreciation, a rise in US bond yields and expectations of an overall weak earnings season. FPIs also pulled out ₹4,399 crore from the debt general limit and ₹5,124 crore through the debt voluntary retention route.
