Around 825 kg of adulterated paneer has been seized from 45 food outlets and eight manufacturing units across Hyderabad. The paneer was allegedly made using synthetic milk, starch, excess water and non-milk fats, officials said. Several shops were found operating without valid licences and allegedly selling cheese analogue products as paneer. Action is being taken against those involved.
