₹93 charge by restaurant triggers ₹10,000 fine in Bengaluru over 'default' staff contribution

CCPA imposed a ₹10,000 fine on Bengaluru's Flavors by Element3 over a "default" staff contribution charge on a bill. Although the eatery removed the charge at the customer's request, CCPA said its addition without the customer's expressed approval was unfair trade practice. It noted that prices of dishes include staff and material costs and therefore, staff contribution's addition is wrong.
