'Aashiqui' was made on ₹40-lakh budget, thought it'd come on TV: Deepak

Actor Deepak Tijori revealed that the 1990 film 'Aashiqui' was made on a budget of ₹40 lakh. "We thought it'd come on TV...So we were working like that on 'Aashiqui', that it is a small film," he recalled. Deepak added, "Gulshan Kumar made sure the songs were a hit and then he told director Mahesh Bhatt to make the film."
