Embark Studios CEO Patrick Söderlund confirmed that 'ARC Raiders' employs aggression-based matchmaking to pair up players based on how violent or passive they are. PvP-minded players who engage in aggressive gameplay are more likely to face similarly violent opponents. Meanwhile, PvE-minded players who prefer to have less conflict with other players get placed in friendlier lobbies.
