'Awadhi feels like poetry': South Indian doctor wins hearts online

A South Indian doctor living in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, has won hearts online by sharing her love for Awadhi, calling it her favourite language. Dr Anitha Punyodaya Misra said hearing patients describe their symptoms in Awadhi feels like listening to poetry. She also admitted that understanding the regional language can sometimes be challenging and described learning Awadhi as a lifelong journey.
