'Baap of Chart', 6 others banned by SEBI in finfluencer crackdown

Markets regulator SEBI on Monday banned seven entities, including Mohd Nasiruddin Ansari who ran unauthorised investment advisory services under the name 'Baap of Chart', from the securities market for up to one year. The SEBI also directed the seven entities to refund ₹17.2 crore within three months. Additionally, a ₹20 lakh penalty was imposed on Ansari.
