Beijing Zoo opens 13,000 sq m smart home for giant pandas

The Beijing Zoo has unveiled a 13,000-square-meter smart home for giant pandas as the zoo marks its 120th anniversary. The facility recreates wild habitats with hills, streams, trees, and automated climate control to keep the pandas comfortable. The facility is China's first giant panda venue with the highest three-star green building rating, and is built with environmentally friendly materials.
