'Big Short' Burry claims Nvidia works like a mafia, paid ₹1,400 cr to stop AMD-OpenAI deal

Veteran investor Michael Burry, often called 'Big Short', alleged Nvidia undertakes "mafia-like" tactics to stop competitors from signing deals. Burry said Nvidia paid $150 million (₹1,400 crore) to block AMD from getting Oracle's contract to supply chips for a data centre it was building for OpenAI. "This is how Nvidia throws its weight around," Burry added, calling for a probe.
