BJP & its ally win 3 seats in RS polls in Odisha, BJD gets 1 seat

BJP leader and Odisha unit chief Manmohan Samal and sitting Rajya Sabha BJP MP Sujeet Kumar secured victories in Rajya Sabha polls in the state. Independent candidate and ex-Union Minister Dilip Ray, backed by the BJP, also secured the win. Ray's win reportedly involved cross-voting by several BJD and Congress MLAs. Biju Janata Dal's Santrupt Misra won a seat.
