'Blast' outside police station in Punjab's Gurdaspur; probe launched

An alleged explosion occurred outside Bakshiwal police station in Punjab's Gurdaspur on Wednesday, prompting police to launch probe. The police station had reportedly remained shut for the last two weeks. Notably, a blast-like noise was reported at Islamabad police station in Amritsar on Tuesday, while a hand grenade was also lobbed at a police post in Nawanshahr earlier this month.
