'Call of Duty: WRS' joins CDL 2026 with $1.2 million prize pool

Activision Blizzard is integrating the 'Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series' (COD:WRS) into the Call of Duty League (CDL) 2026 season. COD:WRS includes online qualifiers, two mid-season LAN events at DreamHack Birmingham and Atlanta and concludes with a Championship at the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh. Players will compete for a total prize pool of $1.2 million.
