'Can't India use our uranium for nuclear arms,' asks reporter; Australian Minister replies

After Australia agreed to sell uranium to India, a journalist asked Australian Minister Pat Conroy how he's sure India won't use it for nuclear weapons. "We've worked on safeguards to make sure our uranium is only used for nuclear energy. We're satisfied with the safeguards," he said. "India is a rising power...We want to work closely with them," he added.
