'Cocktail 2' records biggest opening for a Bollywood rom-com in 10 years

'Cocktail 2' earned ₹24 crore worldwide on its opening day, becoming the biggest opening Bollywood rom-com film of the past decade. Ranveer Singh's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' earlier held the record for the biggest worldwide opening among Bollywood rom-com films (₹23.32 crore). 'Cocktail 2' also surpassed opening collections of 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' and 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar'.
