'Dead' man turns up at Chhattisgarh police station after cremation

A murder case in Chhattisgarh's Jashpur collapsed after a man believed dead walked into police station alive 61 days later. The man said he returned home to celebrate Christmas when he learnt he had been declared dead and his friends were jailed for his murder. Police had arrested several people based on family identification of burnt body, without DNA testing.
