'Diamond King', who gifted cars & homes to his staff, reveals he came to Surat with ₹12

Savji Dholakia, Indian businessman who's dubbed 'Diamond King' and who gifts cars and homes to employees, revealed that he came to Surat when he was 12 with just ₹12. The Hari Krishna Exports Founder said he began working as a diamond polisher, earning ₹179/month. He said he'd walk 20km once a week to eat khaman (Gujarati snack) for ₹0.25.
